THE ORDINANCE OF
Communion
Communion is a meaningful time of worship when we remember Christ’s sacrifice, reflect on His grace, and celebrate the hope we have through Him. As we gather around the Lord’s Table, we are reminded of the Gospel and our unity as the body of Christ.
What is Communion?
Communion, also called the Lord’s Supper, was established by Jesus on the night before His crucifixion. During the service, believers share bread and the cup as symbols of Christ’s body and blood. While these elements remain bread and the cup, they serve as a powerful reminder of His sacrifice and the salvation He accomplished for us on the cross.
